2008 Varsity / JV  Banquet Info

Players, Parents, and Tahoma Baseball Supporters,

The varsity and junior varsity teams will be celebrating their season with an awards banquet and dinner on Wednesday, May 28th. The location will be Tahoma JUNIOR High School and the start time is 5:00. The booster club will be having a BBQ dinner catered and will cover the cost of each player and manager and three of their immediate family members. The cost for each additional guest will be $8.00 each. In order to ensure enough food for everybody in attendence, we are requesting you to RSVP Patti Hammett at her enail address; cnphammett@comcast.net before Saturday.

Other news; Congratulations to Bryce Niemi who has been selected to represent Tahoma as part of the SPSL North Senior All Star Team. Bryce will be playing in a double header of nine inning games on Thursday, May 29th starting at 5:00. The North Team will be playing the SPSL South Senior All Stars. It cost each player $30.00 to play in the games to help cover the costs of umpires and baseballs. If you are planning on attending, please buy your ticket(s) from Bryce for $3.00. Each player is given ten tickets to help them defer the entry cost. (Bryce bring your extra tickets to the banquet)

Congratulations again to Kyle Conwell who received several honors this past week; MVP of the SPSL North, and being named to both the Seattle Times and Tacoma News Tribune All Area Teams.
Thomas Hammett and Zach Aaker were also listed in the TNT as the "Best of the Rest"
